Deputy National Commissioner for Policing and Special Operations, Lieutenant General Tebello Mosikili, expressed satisfaction with the police’s operational plan for the upcoming 29 May general elections. The police have vowed to show “zero tolerance” towards any threats, intimidation, or road closures before, during, and after the elections, following reports of a group of truck drivers planning road closures.

In a briefing just 10 days before the highly anticipated elections, General Tebello Mosikili outlined the National Joint Operational and Intelligence Structure (Natjoints) plan for the elections. The police are prepared to ensure the safety and security of all citizens during the electoral process.
