The Justice and Development Party (PJD) in Morocco has called for an urgent session in response to plans to introduce cannabis-infused products, specifically those with THC, the psychoactive compound in cannabis.

Kyff, a company specializing in cannabis cultivation, is set to launch CBD products in June, sparking concern from the PJD regarding the marketing of cannabis derivatives.

Kyff’s products, sourced locally in Chefchaouen, include CBD-infused chocolates and tablets, with pre-orders already underway for low-THC, high-CBD items.

The company’s first harvest yielded 7.2 tons of kif, processed into various product lines, highlighting the growing debate around cannabis legalization in Morocco.
