Oman Enhances Government Services with Manjam Labs Phase Three
Oman has taken a significant step in improving government services by streamlining 45 services as part of the third phase of Manjam Labs. Led by the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology (MTCIT), this initiative aims to make essential services more efficient and accessible to the public.
Last year, 265 services were simplified through collaboration with 22 government institutions. In this phase, services such as issuance of birth certificates, ID cards, Omani passports, marriage guidance, and pre-marital examinations have been optimized for smoother processing. Specialized services for the elderly and people with disabilities have also been enhanced to provide better care and support.
One notable improvement is the introduction of a one-time request submission feature, which bundles multiple services to expedite processing. Additionally, certain services are now available without formal requests, making access easier for beneficiaries. These enhancements align with Manjam Labs’ goal of providing essential services throughout different life stages, ensuring relevance and accessibility.
The third phase of Manjam Labs, continuing until July, seeks community feedback to further simplify and enhance government services in Oman through efficient public administration.
