YEREVAN, MAY 14, ARMENPRESS. The border delimitation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan continues, and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed hope for steadfastness in this matter during a discussion at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit 2024.

Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of security and a legitimate foreign policy in ensuring the country’s safety, referring to the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration as a key agreement.

He highlighted recent agreements made in Prague, where both countries recognized each other’s territorial integrity based on the Alma-Ata Declaration, aiming for the demarcation of borders without creating new boundaries.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of remaining resolute in the ongoing delimitation process, emphasizing the significance of historical agreements and diplomatic efforts in maintaining security and stability in the region.
