Nigel Farage has dubbed Sir Keir Starmer as “Blair without the flair” in response to the Labour leader’s New Labour-style pledge card aimed at centrist voters. Drawing parallels to Tony Blair, Farage pointed out the similarities between the two leaders’ approaches and styles.
Farage stated, “There’s Starmer today, walking around the stage very much as Blair would have done. Do you notice the shirt? The rolled up shirt? It’s absolutely identical. Now look, there is an argument that if you find a winning formula, you keep using it but I just put this to you folks. This is Blair without the flair. This is almost a charisma-free zone.”
Sir Keir denied being a copycat of Sir Tony Blair and emphasized that his vision offers hope for Britain. Despite the comparisons, he believes in his unique approach to leadership.
