Enhanced Cooperation between Moroccan and Spanish Security Forces
During the 5th DGSN Open Days in Agadir, Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, met with Francisco Pardo Piqueras, Director-General of the Spanish national police.
Piqueras commended the “very effective” collaboration between the two institutions in combating terrorism, organized crime, cybercrime, and providing essential training for ensuring citizens’ security. He emphasized the importance of international cooperation in addressing global security challenges.
Highlighting the friendly relations between Spain and Morocco, Piqueras expressed admiration for the modernization efforts of the Moroccan police, led by DGSN. The ongoing Open Days event, themed “National Security: Citizenship and Solidarity,” aims to showcase these modernization initiatives and promote public awareness.
