The expectant mother detailed how her husband chose to spend money meant for her urgent surgery on personal luxuries, leaving her and their newborn daughter in a precarious situation at the hospital.
Despite being advised by medical professionals to undergo a caesarian section due to health risks, Ubangha’s husband refused, claiming financial constraints. After a temporary improvement in her condition with oxygen therapy, he discharged her against medical advice, leading to a drastic decline in her health.
With her health deteriorating rapidly and facing critical circumstances, Ubangha pleaded for help online, where a generous individual offered financial aid. Regrettably, her husband misused the funds, diverting them to personal purchases.
Now stranded at the hospital with her infant daughter and elderly mother, Ubangha urgently requires financial support to cover medical expenses and facilitate their discharge. She has appealed for approximately N500k to address the escalating costs and daily hospital fees.
