UN Anticipates Significant Outcomes from Azerbaijan’s COP29
The UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, Vladanka Andreeva, expressed high expectations for the upcoming COP29, which will be chaired by Azerbaijan. She emphasized the importance of setting new financial targets and transparency reports for all participating countries to address greenhouse gas emissions.
Collaborating with the government, private sector, and scientific community, COP29 aims to strengthen Azerbaijan’s climate goals and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. Andreeva stressed the need for continuous implementation of agreements from previous COP sessions.

Supported by Azercell and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transportation, the event serves as a platform for experts, regulators, and policymakers to discuss the future of technology.
