MP Kaczyński Launches #StopRaises Campaign to Halt Price Increases
MP Kaczyński announced the start of collecting signatures for the citizens’ bill #StopRaises in July. This initiative will involve MPs from various parties coming together to prevent significant price increases that could harm society and lower living standards. The opposition criticizes Minister Hennig-Kloska’s plan, advocating for wider financial protection instead of government-proposed vouchers.
Unveiling the campaign with Mariusz Błaszczak, the PiS party leader asserts the need to stop the government from draining Polish households’ finances. They plan to present a draft bill in July, aiming to gather 100,000 signatures to support the initiative. The focus is on replicating the success of previous PiS-led measures in stabilizing prices.
