Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan recently met with Ian Borg, the OSCE Chairman-in-Office and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs and Trade of Malta. Pashinyan warmly welcomed Borg’s visit to Armenia, and the two leaders engaged in discussions regarding cooperation between the Armenian government and the OSCE.
During the meeting, they also exchanged thoughts on the current developments in the South Caucasus, with Pashinyan providing insights on the ongoing process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Borg highlighted the OSCE’s dedication to promoting peace and conflict resolution across its region while emphasizing the importance of utilizing its tools effectively to ensure stability and security.
Furthermore, the conversation extended to discussions on strengthening multi-sectoral cooperation and enhancing relations between Armenia and Malta. Both leaders emphasized the significance of organizing bilateral high-level visits to further deepen the ties between the two nations.
