Protesters in Georgia marched against the government’s “foreign agents” bill, echoing repressive Russian legislation. Despite opposition, the ruling party aims to pass the bill, sparking widespread criticism from both domestic and international sources.

US National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, expressed concern over the bill, urging Georgian lawmakers to uphold democratic values. The EU also condemned the bill and called for Georgia’s EU candidate status to be suspended.
