An Iraqi resistance leader condemns Israeli strikes in Syria and emphasizes Iraq’s support for Palestine
In a recent interview, Qais al-Khazali, the leader of the Iraqi resistance movement Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, denounced Israeli attacks on Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba facilities in Syria. He stated that fighters from anti-terror groups in Iraq are at war with the Israeli regime and expressed full support for the Palestinian cause.
Al-Khazali highlighted the role of resistance groups in defending Palestine, as some Arab regimes choose to support Israel. He stressed that victory belongs to the Palestinian people and the Axis of Resistance.
The recent Israeli airstrikes targeted cultural and training facilities in Damascus, causing material damage. While some missiles were intercepted by Syrian air defenses, three members of Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba were wounded. Despite the attack, the Iraqi faction reaffirmed its commitment to resisting both Israeli and US occupation forces.
As the Gaza conflict continues, Iraqi resistance groups have intensified their operations against Israeli targets, showing unwavering support for Palestine amidst international indifference.
