The UK military has flown 200 spy missions over Gaza in support of Israel, raising concerns about possible complicity in war crimes. The Royal Air Force (RAF) conducted surveillance flights over Gaza from RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus, collecting around 1,000 hours of footage. These flights coincided with Israeli airstrikes, including one that killed seven aid workers, including three Britons.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) is considering issuing arrest warrants for Israeli officials, but British officials could also face prosecution for complicity in war crimes. The UK Ministry of Defense launched spy flights to locate captives held by Hamas in Gaza, but the number and timing of the flights have raised suspicions about their true purpose.

With Israel’s devastating war on Gaza ongoing, the UK’s involvement in surveillance activities has come under scrutiny. Questions remain about the true intentions behind the UK spy flights and their impact in the conflict. Solidarity with Palestine continues to grow worldwide, as seen in recent protests at Cambridge University.
