Marwat had criticized senior party members for denying him a position in the National Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee, citing interference from Saudi Arabia. Known for his controversial statements, Marwat had previously accused the US and Saudi Arabia of plotting against the PTI government, causing public backlash.
This is not the first time Marwat has faced disciplinary action from the PTI, as he was previously issued a show-cause notice for remarks against party leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan. Despite his defiance, the party has reiterated its commitment to upholding its values and code of conduct.
