Arvind Kejriwal Launches Scathing Attack on Modi Government After Release

After being granted bail by India’s apex court, Delhi’s chief minister Arvind Kejriwal wasted no time in launching a scathing attack on the ruling Modi government. He urged voters in the ongoing general election to put an end to what he called “dictatorship”. Kejriwal accused the government of trying to crush his party, AAP, and stated that the arrest of him and other party leaders was politically motivated.

The Modi-led government denied the allegations of using agencies to target political opponents. Kejriwal was granted temporary bail to campaign in the ongoing election but was restricted from official duties. Meanwhile, he expressed confidence that the opposition coalition, including AAP, would form the government after the election results are announced on 4 June.

In a daring speech against Modi, Kejriwal highlighted the need for Delhi to gain full statehood and criticized the government’s tactics. He questioned the BJP’s future leadership and pointed out inconsistencies in their own rules.

Kejriwal’s bold stance and fighting spirit have positioned him as a key figure in Indian politics to watch as the election drama unfolds.
