Ukraine’s A3tech has achieved certification for its DOK-ING MV-4 mine clearance vehicle, meeting the requirements outlined in Government Resolution No. 271. This certification paves the way for industrial production to meet the demands of government agencies and humanitarian operators.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister, Yuliia Svyrydenko, emphasized the importance of developing domestic production of mine clearance equipment, highlighting the potential for job creation and economic growth. A3tech, which assembles Croatian DOK-ING machines, has already expanded its workforce by 12% and plans to involve more enterprises in production.
Localization of mine clearance vehicles in Ukraine not only accelerates repairs and replacements but also facilitates access for humanitarian operators. The MV-4 is a versatile robotic vehicle capable of clearing up to 1,500 square meters per hour and is currently used by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service.
With plans to expand production and continue testing new models like the MV-10, Ukraine is poised to become a hub for mine clearance equipment manufacturing, driving innovation and economic growth in the region.
