Indian Authorities Arrest Another Member of Lawrence Bishnoi Gang in Salman Khan Firing Case
The Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested Mohammed Rafique Chowdhary from Rajasthan for his alleged involvement in providing finances to the suspect who fired shots outside Bollywood star Salman Khan’s residence. According to reports, Chowdhary was instructed by Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, to support the shooters financially.
Chowdhary facilitated the purchase of a bike and rental house for the alleged shooters, Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta. The arrest marks the fifth in the case as police continue to track other suspects. Further investigations revealed that Chowdhary was in direct contact with Anmol Bishnoi and another gang leader, Rohit Gadara.
It was found that Chowdhary held a meeting with the shooters a week before the incident and conducted reconnaissance of Salman Khan’s residence multiple times. Anuj Thapan, accused of supplying arms, reportedly committed suicide while in custody. Lawrence Bishnoi is currently in prison, while his brother, Anmol Bishnoi, is believed to be abroad.
