Reminiscent of the American student protests in 1968, the current student movement is a natural response to the inept international system.

Recent student protests in the US have shed light on the limitations of academic freedom when facing the Israeli Iron Curtain. Intimidation tactics and crackdowns on peaceful protests have revealed a sharp divide between those advocating for an end to university complicity with Israeli actions and those weaponizing antisemitism to stifle criticism.

Forces like the ADL and pro-Israel politicians aim to silence dissent against Israel, utilizing Western antisemitism to quell opposition. Netanyahu’s call to crush protests echoes dark times when academia faced suppression.

The current student movement, known as the “eros effect,” mirrors past political awakenings and aims to challenge oppression and end Gaza’s suffering. This generation, united in facing opposition, strives for justice and international solidarity.
