Employees of European Union Institutions Protest Israeli Aggression
More than 100 employees of European Union institutions in Brussels organized a protest against the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. They displayed three “corpses” symbolizing the violation of international law and human rights.
Manus Carlisle, a European Commission employee, emphasized the importance of defending the principles and values of the EU. Similarly, Simona Balogova from the European Committee of the Regions stressed the neutrality of the protest, aimed at upholding EU values.
Despite the political sensitivity, the employees were united in their stand for justice and accountability, highlighting the significance of upholding human rights standards.
