Exciting Developments in Pakistan-Saudi Relations
Amidst increasing efforts to enhance trade ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman is set to visit Pakistan this month. The visit aims to finalize deals being negotiated between the two countries.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar revealed that discussions with Saudi investors’ delegation were extensive and left a positive impression. The Saudi delegation, led by the Saudi deputy minister for investment, visited Islamabad to explore investment opportunities.
Furthermore, FM Dar emphasized that Pakistan would not succumb to external pressure regarding projects such as the Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline. He stated that decisions would be made in the best interest of Pakistan, without allowing any interference in its sovereignty.
In addition, FM Dar will travel to China for a strategic dialogue, reflecting the strengthening of diplomatic ties between Pakistan and China. This visit follows engagements between the US envoy and Pakistani political figures, facilitated by the Foreign Office.
Overall, Pakistan’s proactive approach in enhancing economic and diplomatic relations with key allies signals a promising future for the country’s development and stability.
