Union Minister Nitin Gadkari stated that Delhi has the potential to become one of the top five cities globally if people elect BJP and NDA to re-elect Narendra Modi as Prime Minister. Gadkari emphasized this during a public meeting in Chandni Chowk, supporting BJP candidate Praveen Khandelwal.
Gadkari highlighted the various infrastructure projects in Delhi funded by the Centre, such as highways, flyovers, and upcoming projects like an electric cable bus to Jaipur and an amphibious plane service from Yamuna waters. He mentioned that travel time between Delhi and other cities like Dehradun and Haridwar will significantly reduce due to ongoing highway developments.
Furthermore, Gadkari promised improvements in water supply, river cleaning projects, and the completion of dam projects to ensure water availability in Delhi until 2070. He urged Delhi residents to vote for BJP and NDA to witness Delhi’s transformation into a global city.
