Jordan Condemns Attack on Gaza Aid Convoy by Radical Settlers
Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi strongly denounced the recent attack on a Jordanian aid convoy heading towards Gaza, blaming radical settlers for committing the crime without any challenge from Israeli authorities.
Safadi held the Israeli government accountable for the incident and called on the UN Security Council to take effective action to ensure the safety of aid convoys and workers.
In another statement, Safadi criticized the Israeli government for occupying the Rafah crossing and preventing humanitarian aid from reaching the starving population in Gaza. He demanded that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu faces consequences for his actions.
Expressing concerns over a possible invasion of Rafah and the potential for another massacre, Safadi urged the UN Security Council to intervene immediately to prevent further violence and protect the civilians in Gaza.
