Amman – The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, Masrour Barzani, had an insightful meeting on Sunday with the Jordanian higher education delegation at the Jordanian-Kurdistan Higher Education Forum 2024 in Erbil.
The focus of the meeting was to strengthen the ties between Jordan and the Kurdistan region of Iraq, particularly in the areas of higher education and scientific research. Both parties discussed various opportunities for collaboration and development in these crucial fields.
The forum, titled “Shaping the Future through Sustainable Development,” is a joint initiative by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, along with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. The event is also supported by the Tourism Promotion Authority and the Consulate General of Jordan in Erbil.
