Russian forces obliterate US-made armor – RT Russia & FSU

Recent footage released by Russia’s Defense Ministry showcases the destruction of Western military hardware supplied to Ukraine. The video clip captures the moment when an Abrams M1 tank and a Bradley fighting vehicle, both supplied by Washington, were taken out by Russian forces on the front line.

The American-made equipment fell victim to Russian FPV-drones and artillery strikes, rendering them inoperable. The destruction of the Abrams tank was particularly highlighted, as it was hit by a Krasnopol guided artillery shell.

The video, shared on the ministry’s Telegram channel, depicts the intense moments of the attack, with Ukrainian troops fleeing the damaged armor and the subsequent elimination of the targets by explosive-laden UAVs.

The relentless message from the ministry was clear: “We were striking, we’re striking and we’ll keep striking.” This determination to neutralize military equipment supplied to Ukraine underscores Russia’s commitment to defending its interests.

While the exact location and timing of the video remain undisclosed, speculation suggests that the incident occurred near Avdeevka in Russia’s Donetsk People’s Republic. The strategic town was captured by Moscow’s forces in February after a fierce battle.

Furthermore, an exhibition in Moscow displaying captured Western-supplied hardware, including the Abrams tank and Bradley fighting vehicle, emphasizes Russia’s stance on foreign military involvement in the conflict. The exhibition serves as a reminder that no amount of Western military equipment can alter the outcome of the ongoing conflict.

Russia has consistently voiced concerns over the US and its allies’ role in arming and training Ukrainian troops, effectively making them part of the conflict. This exhibition serves as a testament to Russia’s determination to secure victory in the face of external interference.
