Are you worried about developing side effects after taking the Covishield vaccine? According to Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, there is no need to be concerned.
Rao addressed concerns about reports of individuals experiencing side effects after receiving the Covishield vaccine during a press conference in Dharwad.
While acknowledging that all vaccines may have a small percentage of side effects, Rao reassured the public that adverse reactions are rare. He noted that only a small number of residents in Karnataka experienced severe health issues after receiving the Covishield vaccine.
The Health department has investigated these cases and is determining whether the health problems were directly linked to the vaccine or other pre-existing conditions.
Rao urged the public to disregard rumors and emphasized that the likelihood of experiencing side effects at this point is minimal, given that the vaccines were administered over two years ago.
If anyone experiences any health issues or notices changes in their well-being, Rao advised seeking medical evaluation at a hospital. He also recommended waiting for guidance from the central government regarding vaccination protocols.
