Breaking News: Two Notorious Land Grabbers Arrested in Karachi!

In a targeted operation by the Anti Encroachment Force in District East, two high-profile land grabbers, Abid Tanveer and Shahenshah alias Siraiki, were apprehended for illegally occupying land in front of Super Highway Police Station. This successful operation marks a significant milestone in the fight against land grabbing in Karachi.

According to the director of Anti Encroachment Force, Raja Tariq Chandio, a case has been registered against the accused for their involvement in illegal land possession in interior Sindh. The FIR includes the names of 15 most wanted land grabbers, and efforts are underway to arrest the remaining absconding individuals.

It is worth mentioning that last year, the Sindh government decided to crack down on high-profile land grabbers across the province. This decision was made during an emergency meeting chaired by Director Raja Tariq Chandio and attended by other law enforcement officials.

The crackdown aims to reclaim government and private lands worth billions of rupees that have been unlawfully grabbed by the land mafia. In total, 480 cases have been registered against land grabbers in Sindh, with 473 cases in Karachi alone. The Anti Encroachment Force is committed to addressing this issue and restoring the rights of rightful landowners.
