Duncan Chiu Tat-kun, a lawmaker representing the innovation and technology sector, highlighted the fragmented approach to IT projects in various government departments, leading to a lack of a unified cybersecurity system.

Chiu emphasized the need for consolidating resources into four major data hubs to enhance digital security and combat cyberattacks effectively.
