The call for sustainable and fair peace in the region reverberated strongly as the Iranian Foreign Minister addressed the OIC meeting. Boycotting the Israeli regime and holding all involved in its crimes accountable are crucial steps that the Islamic world can take to support the people of Gaza.
Destruction of Palestinian Resistance a Mere Illusion
The Foreign Minister dismissed the idea of eradicating Palestinian resistance, emphasizing that movements like Hamas play a crucial role in resisting Israeli occupation. Despite facing numerous challenges, he believes that these obstacles can also present opportunities for growth and innovation within the Islamic world.
Amir-Abdollahian highlighted the rich cultural heritage, abundant natural resources, and youthful population of Islamic countries as potential catalysts for advancements rooted in Islamic values.
Ultimately, true peace can only be achieved through addressing the root causes of conflict and oppression in the region.
The 15th OIC summit saw the Iranian Foreign Minister engaging in discussions with counterparts from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia, showcasing Iran’s commitment to diplomatic efforts in promoting peace and unity within the Islamic world.
