Government enforces blackout on UK intel about Israeli military jets

Recent events have shed light on a concerning issue – the presence of Israeli Air Force planes in Britain. After nine Israeli Air Force planes landed in the UK in just four months, the Ministry of Defence suddenly changed its policy and has now imposed a block on all information regarding Israeli military planes in the UK.

This move comes amidst speculation that the International Criminal Court is preparing to issue arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and his ministers. The blackout on information about Israeli military planes in the UK could be an attempt to shield British ministers, including defence secretary Grant Shapps, from potential prosecution for complicity in war crimes.

Alba MP Kenny MacAskill raised questions about the presence of Israeli Air Force planes in the UK, only to be met with a blanket refusal for any new information. The MoD cited “operational security reasons” for their silence, effectively shutting down any inquiries on the matter.

Despite the government’s attempt to conceal information, it was previously revealed that Israeli Air Force planes had indeed visited various locations in the UK. Following these disclosures, the British government swiftly changed its policy on sharing such details.

Nine planes, one controversy

However, amidst the ongoing controversy, it was discovered that Israeli Air Force aircraft had landed in several UK locations including Glasgow and Birmingham. The Scottish government has even taken measures to prevent further landings of Israeli Air Force planes at Prestwick airport.

A second block

MP Kenny MacAskill had previously faced censorship when inquiring about the UK’s role in facilitating arms supplies to Israel during the conflict in Gaza. This second block on information raises concerns about transparency and accountability in UK government operations.

As democratic scrutiny diminishes, questions arise about the actions being taken in the name of British citizens. The blackout on information regarding Israeli military planes in the UK only deepens suspicions and calls for greater transparency.
