Global capitals see huge protests against Israeli aggression on Gaza.

The world is witnessing a tide of solidarity with the Palestinian people as protests erupt in numerous capitals and cities worldwide against the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, which has now lasted for 203 days.

In cities like Berlin, London, Copenhagen, Helsingborg, Vienna, and Tunis, thousands have taken to the streets to demand an end to the Israeli genocide and the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza. Participants are waving Palestinian flags and holding banners condemning the atrocities committed by the Israeli occupation, especially against children.

In London, a central rally in front of the Parliament building brought together civil society organizations, unions, anti-Zionist Jews, healthcare workers, university students, Northern Ireland’s First Minister Michelle O’Neill, and Palestinian Ambassador to the UK, Husam Zomlot. They are urging the British government to restore funding to UNRWA, suspended due to Israeli allegations.

Meanwhile, in Paris, students at Sciences Po University shut down the campus to condemn the Israeli war on Gaza, leading to clashes with pro-Israel supporters. The movement is not limited to the US, as students in France, Canada, and Australia are also mobilizing.

Despite facing repression and false accusations of “anti-Semitism,” students in American universities are intensifying their support for Gaza, demanding a permanent ceasefire, an end to US military aid to Israel, divestment from companies supporting Israel, and the reversal of repressive measures against the movement.
