He highlighted that while the company has mentioned very rare side effects in its statement, the World Health Organization (WHO) has approved the vaccine for use.
Ait Taleb acknowledged that all medications, including vaccines, come with potential side effects, and the benefits of the AstraZeneca vaccine outweigh the risks. He reassured the public that the vaccine has been found to be effective and safe for use.
The Minister also clarified speculations about the privatization of Ministry-owned buildings and real estate, emphasizing that they will remain public facilities and institutions. He emphasized that the concerns raised by some health sector unions are misconceptions about government transactions.
In addition, Ait Taleb discussed the “Mobile Health Units” project, which aims to provide healthcare services to underserved areas. He described it as a royal initiative that addresses regional disparities in healthcare access and human resources shortages.
